About Us & Founder's Vision
Sau Maltitai Gogawale founded Sakhi Saheli Foundation with a single, uncompromising belief: talent is universal, but opportunity is not — and that gap is a debt society owes to every woman. What began as informal circles teaching tailoring and literacy in Wagholi has grown into a full-scale women welfare engine, engineered to reach households, self-help groups, and workplaces across Pune and beyond.
Today, the foundation carries her name, her fire, and her relentless standard forward: dignity, self-reliance, and unity are not privileges to be granted — they are rights we exist to restore, one woman, one skill, one victory at a time.
